She's no mental giant, but she does have unending enthusiasm for catching snowballs, which combined with small boys with an undending enthusiasm for throwing snowballs is joyful indeed.
Given the chatter about ticks over the past couple of days, I did consider posting a picture of a few of the blighters on Jess. My opinion notwithstanding they are creatures after all. But it was before breakfast and I just didn't have the stomach for it.
This post is a part of Tara's Gallery - the theme for this week was Creatures.
Good action shots. x

Wow! Fantastic photos. That first one is my fave by far. Love it.
ReplyDeleteYou alright chick? I'm potty training this week. Its shit. Literally. ;-)

huge thanks for your comment on mine. LOVE these pics. We had some of our old boxer jumping in the snow and he looked weirdly like a kangaroo! Yeah, think the pup will be fine - just a bit shell-shocked right now!
ReplyDeleteFabulous! What fun and great for the kids to have such a cooperative play mate! (Glad you avoided ticks, I've seen enough for one week!)
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos - she looks like such a lovely dog.
ReplyDeleteLove these pics - and the idea of a real family dog. Brings such pleasure to children's lives.
ReplyDeleteFantastic action shots what a clever dog!
ReplyDeleteLove the first picture in particular...
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, she is lovely
ReplyDeleteExcellent lol, love that I can see the snowball in his/her mouth (not very good at telling boy dogs and girl dogs apart!!) Jen
ReplyDeleteI just want to go out and throw snowballs for her - love the first shot!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! Looks like he's having a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is awesome! Almost looks superimposed (in a good way) it seems so unlikely that you'd manage to catch that much energy! hope you've broken it to her gently that there's unlikely to be that much snow in her future this year....
ReplyDeleteAll that sentimental stuff about being Robert Green's Mum and now you're pushing your own candidate? Mummies red in tooth and claw when it comes to their own!
ReplyDeleteEmily, I hope you won't mind me sneaking something a bit more serious in here - I know you have Bosnian readers. 27 June is the anniversary of the Bikavac house fire in 1992 and this year will be the first commemoration since Milan Lukic's conviction. If you know anyone in Sarajevo who might want to attend the commemoration - or any members of the foreign press / diplomatic community who'd be interested - there'll be a bus leaving Sarajevo at 8 am. Nice shots ;) I love snow and skiing
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! Believe it or not my cat also does massive jumps but I'm too rubbish a photographer to snap her in the act. Must try harder ...
ReplyDeleteEmily! I found you! I have been trying to access this site for a while you know and my PC has been being a bugger. Oh you won't get rid of me now. Love the pics, fabulous.
