The Gallery: Holidays

Week 18 of Tara's Gallery. This week's theme - holidays.

I've posted this photo before but I do love it, and it does rather sum up an English holiday for me. After a long day digging holes in the sand and trying to stop the tide from destroying sand castles, time to cover wind burnt skin with a few jumpers and to settle in for tea and lemon drizzle cake in front of the beach hut. Perfect.

  2. I think Susie is right - perfect for a card. Everything is just right about it - the assortment of chairs and the cloud formation!

  11. It is a brilliant photo. All you need is a knotted hankie on someone's head, a Kiss Me Quick hat on someone else's, and a seagull swooping to nick your chips!
