Continuing London City Mum's theme about truely drawdropping fashion choices, I found myself out and about in this classy little combination this afternoon.
Notice the socks with sandals combo. The one leg of the jeans rolled up, the other down look. You need to imagine the burnt orange cardigan which I had managed to throw on at the last minute, the reality of the whole effect is too hideous to publish here.
Yes reader, I went round the supermarket looking like this, and I am proud.
Can anyone else match me?

I remember being made t wear socks with Jesus sandals when I was little and it just felt so WRONG! Socks and sandals don't go, not just from an aesthetic standpoint, they make your toes feel all hemmed in.
ReplyDeleteVery erm, classy...
ReplyDeleteHow very chic!
ReplyDeleteThat is just horrible!! I am sure no one could ever top my pajamas-to-the-restaurant look back in 2008. I was as sick as a dog and had just bathed and put on new PJs when my husband insisted on going out for dinner as his parents were only in town for one more night. So on came a sweater and track pants over the PJs and I was good to go.
ReplyDeleteBe careful! My toddler wore socks with her Birkenstocks recently and kept slipping over. Thinking about it though, going a*se over t*t might complete the look!
ReplyDeleteI like the way your socks pick up the theme of the speckled asphalt. Was it an artistic comment on how humankind creates an environment for ourselves, but then the environment begins to dominate our choices? Thought so.
